Cytokine PharmaSciences (CPSI) in-licenses the hydrogel polymer that forms the basis of several CPSI products, including the Cervidil®/Propess® vaginal insert for cervical ripening.
Along with the rights to use the hydrogel polymer for intravaginal delivery of prostaglandins, CPSI has also acquired the rights to use this hydrogel polymer for oromucosal delivery from BTG.

The Picower Institute for Medical Research

This independent, not-for-profit medical research organization was located at North Shore University Hospital and is the source for several of CPSI’s products and technologies, including CNI-1493 and MIF. The Picower Institute closed at the end of 2001 and its operations have been largely taken over by North Shore/Long Island Jewish Hospital. All rights to in-licensed products were assigned outright to CPSI upon the closing of the Picower Institute.
